Custom Work

All of our work is fully custom.  We do not carry stock – each piece is handcrafted of your choice of wood.  Every piece is created by Ian Stewart, by hand.  The designs are based on the sturdy, simple, unadorned furniture of the middle ages seen in portraits and paintings.  Each work is of heirloom quality, carved from solid wood, and should last for generations.

While we have created a broad variety of pieces, those which are most often requested are listed below.  (Prices are estimates, and are dependent on the style of item and selection and availability of the specific wood.)
